
Today a meeting of Collegium of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Astana under chairmanship of Minister of Defence Adilbek Dzhaksybekov.
A number of issues concerning condition of the Armed Forces had been discussed. Participants discussed the results of the spring conscription campaign, results of combat readiness and military discipline, as well as physical training in the Armed Forces.
Representatives of Ministry of Health, deputies of mayors executing functions of chairmen of oblast conscription and medical commissions took part in the meeting.
Head of Defence Ministry underlined that for the first time all functionaries responsible for conscription took part in the meeting. He paid attention to necessity of teamwork of military enlistment offices and chairmen of conscription and medical commissions, since battle capacity of the Armed Forces, other troops directly depends on quality of conscripted soldiers.
“One of the major tasks of the Armed Forces is to raise quality indicators of combat and operational training of troops,” Minister of Defence Adilbek Dzhaksybekov noted. “That is the requirement of Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan.”
It should be noted that on the eve of the Collegium the command staff of Kazakshtani Army was passing physical training tests.
Minister of Defence said that physical training in troops should to be on the highest level.
“Nowadays law and enforcement bodies, Armed Forces, other troops and military formations are demanded heightened requirements. That concerns quality of our conscripted soldiers as well,” Adilbek Dzhaksybekov noted. “Principal priorities are to be used in these issues. Not just a “campaign for campaign””, but an individual approach to every conscript. And that principle must become the main one. Armed Forces capacity, security of state and every kazakshtani family depend on that.””
