More then one hundred officers with academic education filled the officers ranks of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. There was held a graduation ceremony of officers-students from the National Defence University of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Minister of Defence of Kazakshtan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov handed award pins and diplomas on graduation.
Cheering the military students of the university Minister of Defense reminded that President of the country in his last address had underlined the priority of development of human capital, and that is first of all the quality education.
“The main mission of the military education system is to train highly qualified professionals able to make effective management decisions and implement their best to respond adequately to challenges,” Minister of Defense Adilbek Dzhaksybekov said. “And National Defense University copes with its tasks.”
Postgraduate education plays a significant role in the system of military training. It provides an effective system of military-scientific, scientific-pedagogical personnel of the new formation, capable to solve issues of improving the military economy, military production, military science and development of new technologies.
In the National Defense University’s staff consists of best specialists-pedagogs who pass on their wealth experience to young followers. Those officers who do not have academic education may go through academic courses organized in the University. Since the last year brigade sergeants have opportunities to study in the academic courses at the National Defence University.
The status of the National Defence University has significantly rose with creation faculty “Military and state management” in September 2011. The first specialists of strategic and operational strategic level will graduate in the next year.
The National Defence University is the one educational institution in the Central Asia region within of frames of which servicemen of the CSTO member states pass training.
In the end of the event Adilbek Dzhaksybekov noted that teachers staff made a worthy contribution to the improvement of training of personnel. And that
contributed to the development of the Armed Forces and enables to implement tasks set by the Head of state on raising the military education system on a new level that meet international standards.
