There are less than 10 days to the start of the second International exhibition of weapons systems and military equipment «KADEX-2012". Now it is the finish line of preparation for the exhibition. Currently the number of participants exceeds 250 companies from over 20 countries. Only in the last two weeks about 15 companies had filed applications for participation in the exhibition.
Enterprises producing military purpose, special and double-purpose products will be presented by such countries as Germany, Russia, Canada, Poland, USA, Ukraine, Belarus, Italy, Spain, France, Slovak Republic, Turkey and many others.
The main sections of the exhibition will be:
- “Land Forces and Navy weapons systems and military equipment”;
- “Aviation and air-based weapons, air defence systems”;
- “Special purpose weapons and equipment”;
- “IT-technologies and communications”;
- “Logistic support equipment”.
Currently arrangement of pavilions where all participants of the exhibition will place their stands has been completed. To demonstrate armament and military equipment on the open area there will be placed tanks T-72 and
T-72B, infantry fighting vehicle BMP-2, military wheeled vehicle "Cobra", "Tiger," "Hammer", vehicles of various modifications of "KAMAZ".
Aviation equipment at the exposition will be presented be Su-27UBM,
MiG-31, Mi-17V5, ES-145, Mi-26, anti-aircraft missile system S-300 and other equipment.
There has been equipped a ground specially for the exhibition for some samples of equipment which will demonstrate their capabilities. It will provide military specialists to get acquainted with the performance characteristics and to assess military equipment in action.
There has been developed and approved a demonstration program of modern armaments and military equipment, which are in the arsenal of the Land Forces and Air Defence Forces of Kazakhstani army.
The final exercises (tactical actions) in the frames of demonstration program will be carried out by special purpose units.
Air show program which will include demonstration flights of combat aircraft of the Air Defence Forces of Kazakhstan has been also planned.
Department for Military-Technical Policy of the Ministry of Defence works out the details of the exhibition during the meeting of the Business Council under the Intergovernmental Commission on military-economic cooperation of the CSTO. Meeting of the Coordinating Council on advertising and exhibition activities of the CSTO member states will be also held during the days of the exhibition.
The theme of the International military scientific-technical conference which will be held within the exhibition has been defined – “Innovative development of military-industrial complex". Conference participants will discuss prospects of development of the modern military-technical policy.
It is planned that the official opening ceremony will be attended by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
It is planned during the exhibition to hold a number of meetings of the Minister of Defence of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov, his deputies, heads of departments with representatives of foreign companies that manufacture weapons and military equipment.
Let’s recall that the second International exhibition of weapons systems and military equipment «KADEX-2012" will be held in Astana
on May 3 – 6. It is organized by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The first two days of the exhibition will be devoted only to its participants: there will be held business meetings, negotiations, discussions. In the next two days the exhibition will be opened for all visitors.
