
Military training is going on at the "South" Regional Command despite the unstable weather. But the weather makes its adjustments.

On January 30 at about 9:00 p.m. representatives of Zhualinskiy district’s akimat asked commanders of military unit 91678 to provide assistance to passengers of buses stuck in a snow jam near the village of Shakpak-Ata in twenty kilometers from B. Momyshuly settlement.
There was a traffic jam on the new highway of Taraz-Shymkent. After the received orders and instructions the multi-purpose armored team settled out to the specified area. The rescue team from military unit 91678 was composed of deputy commander of armaments Major Constantin Nurkanov, military contract servicemen – driver-mechanic private Erden Zhakhanov and driver-mechanic staff sergeant Yernar Bayduanov, signal operator first sergeant Bertay Tlegenov. Arriving at the destination the military fixed up almost 60 cars, mostly long-range heavy trucks stuck in snow jam. First of all passengers of "Gazel" minibus were evacuated by the team and they have been delivered up to the recovery tear of the Zhambyl region Ministry of Emergency. Then the servicemen conducted technical support of heavy trucks, as a result of these actions they assisted MoE to clear up the traffic jam in the area of Shakpak-Ata settlement to the post of "Rubezh" at the border with South Kazakhstan oblast. Rescue work continued until 6 a.m., January 31. There were no any losers by the congestion.
After the task was fulfilled and reported to higher command the team came back to the unit. The unit commander Lt. Col. Askhat Abduvaitov announced thanks to these servicemen and gave them rest. Representatives of the regional and district MoE expressed their appreciation to our military for their prompt and timely assistance in liquidation of emergency situation on the highway.
