For the first in Kazakhstan’s history a Combat parade of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan will be held on May 7, 2013 – on the Day of Motherland Defenders.

Today, 11 June, 2013 in the framework of the first official visit of Defence Minister of the Kingdom of Spain to the Republic of Kazakhstan Ministers of Defence of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov and Spain Pedro Morenes Eulate held bilateral meeting. Parties discussed the issues of strengthening mutual military and military-technical cooperation. During negotiations Ministers discussed further interaction in the sphere of development of defence industry of two countries.

Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov on 64th meeting of Council of Ministers of Defence of state-parties of Commonwealth of Independent States said that united Air defence system is one of the most effective forms of interaction of Armed forces of CIS. “To improve practical part of the issue it’s planned to held trainings in August, September current year on training grounds Ashuluk of Russian Federation and Saryshagan of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”, noted Adilbek Dzhaksybekov. The Head of Defence Ministry underlined that such cooperation will strengthen combat interaction of the armies of CIS.

Today press conference on the fact of MiG-31 aircraft crash was held in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As reported earlier, April 23, 2013 at 22.41 MiG-31 plane crashed because of technical failure during scheduled night training flights. The crew catapulted. Plane commander Colonel Marat Edigeev died, and navigation officer Galimzyanov Ruslan Raifovich was taken to hospital. There is no threat to his life.

Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov expressed condolences to friends and family of Colonel Marat Edigeev who died during the accident of MiG-31. “In the name of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan and on my behalf I condole with near and dear ones of aircraft pilot of Air Defence Forces of Kazakhstan Colonel Marat Edigeev upon his loss in discharge of duty,” Minister of Defence added.

Servicemen and overhead personnel of Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan express their condolence on the occasion of loss of Colonel Marat Edigeev who died during performance of exercise-training flight.

“We share the tragic loss of the family of Marat Edigeev, and we conceive the tragedy as our own one because we lost comrade-in-armes, adviser and a true friend,” servicemen of Kazakhstan army noted.

MiG-31 plane crashed in Karaganda

April 23, 2013 at 22.41 pm MiG-31 plane crashed during scheduled night training flights because of technical failure. Crew catapulted. Plane commander Colonel Edigeev Marat Orazovich died, navigation officer Major Galimzyanov Ruslan Raifovich is taken to hospital there is no threat to his life.
