Akpombayev Imanzhusup Latkenovich
Born on June 1, 1963 in village Urlyutyub, Zhelezinka district, Pavlodar region.
In 1981 he graduated from the Pavlodar Accounting and Economics College, in 2001 from the Kazakh Economic University with honors (in absentia).
In 1987 he graduated from the Yaroslavl Higher Military Financial School.
From September 1987 to January 1993, he held various officer-financier’s positions.
From in January to October 1993 he was assistant chief of the Pavlodar military commissariat.
From October 1993 to July 1998 he was the chief of financial and social welfare of the Pavlodar regional military commissariat.
From July to December 1998 he held position of deputy chief of directorate - head of section of Department for Economy and Finance, Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan.
From December 1998 to May 2000 he held post of deputy chief of Department - chief of Directorate for Economy and Finance, Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan.
From May 2000 to July 2012 –he held position of chief of Budget Planning and Finance Department, Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From July 2012 to January 2013 he was Acting Deputy Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Economy and Finance.
On January 29, 2013 by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Colonel I. Akpombayev was appointed Deputy Minister of Defence of Economics and Finance.
He was awarded by Order "Aibyn" of the 2-nd degree, he has 11 jubilee medals and for the excellent service.
