Main tasks of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2013
1. constant improvement of troops field training;
2. raising the level of combat training and quality of military personnel;
3. presidio infrastructure development;
4. continue supporting domestic defence industry complex with introduction of new technologies and service maintenance of armament and hardware;
5. continue training mobilization reserve in training centers and Military-Technical Schools;
6. development of Military-Technical Schools;
7. improvement of training and material base of military educational institutions;
8. discipline and law strengthening in subordinate troops and units.
